Does anyone have any experience with the Breakaway 1387/2. A customer asked about a Breakaway blank for throwing 4oz plugs/metals. He told me a friend of his had a 11'6" Breakaway build up and I couldn't think of what blank it would be. The 1387/2 is one of the only Breakaways I haven't built on. The Allstar catalog has the blanks rated all wrong in my opinion. They have the 11'9'(1418) rated at 3/4-3oz. I don't think so. Anyway, my question is what is the 1387/2 really rated at? Has anyone fished it? Any info will be appreciated. Thanks and tightlines Re: Blank Question

Mike, You are absolutely correct. We do have the ratings wrong in our catalog for the Breakaway blank line. We will be making corrections in our next blank catalog. The new rating for the BGSW1387-2 will be 2-5 ounces. The new ratings have been established by a champion long distance casting expert who has also built hundreds of rods from this blank line. Sorry to everyone for all the confusion. Feel free to contact me for any additional information. Sharon Johnson All Star Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
