looking for Cal Bears colors

Hello all.
I'm searching for some wrapping thread to match the UC Berkeley school colors. I'm building two fly rods for a past graduate and dedicated supporter. The only colors acceptable are those listed as official colors in the school website. They are based on the "Pantone" color match system (a nationally recognized standard). The colors are Pantone 540 blue and Pantone 139 or 123 yellow. Either yellow is acceptable. I have found the 139 in Madeira polyneon. Madeira's color is 1625 but I can't locate either of the other colors. I'm not locked into Madeira. Any appropriate wrapping thread is fine as long as I can match the colors. I have e-mails out to Fishhawk and Madeira but hope that someone here may have some other suggestions. I have read the recent posts on threads and colors but this Pantone color match adds an extra degree of difficulty. Thanks for any and all suggestions.

Mark,

We do have the PMS 123 (Yellow) called Goldenrod. We do not have the PMS 540 but we do have a PMS 2945, dark blue which is very close. I will be very happy to mail you a Pantone color chart of all our threads. Please forward your mailing address to sales@fishhawkthreads.com. Any chance you will be at the Lamiglas gathering this weekend in Woodland? If so, I can arrange for you to get a PMS color chart today!

Many Thanks,

Robbie Smith
