Looking for suggestions.

Have been getting requests for Carpenter/Smith type rods, specifically OH55XH-S/AMJ-S52EX. Very stong short moderate action spinning blanks (parabolic is how they get advertised).

Thanks

I too am interested in an answer. Here is what I have found thus far. I have used the phenix blanks and recently found an OTI blank that fits the bill. Since neither are sponsers, please do a search on google to find their websites. Both blanks are made overseas in China using japanese materials.

Mike, GUSA is offering 3 blanks for this type of fishing, which are new to the market. I will be posting more pictures of the rods and making more comments about them as they are fished. These are Composite graphite-glass blanks with a soft parabolic tip which shuts off when a fish is on right in front of the foregrip. THE model which is comparable to the blanks you are looking at is the URJ-603 [northeastrodbuilders.com]

I am placing another order for these this week, I sold the ones from my first order a lot quicker than I had anticipated. One is being made for Kil Song, if you post on other Jigging/popping forums, that name should sound familiar to you.
