Can any one tell me if you can use micro guides on spinning rods. What kind of feedback can you give on them. Just started building rods, not sure a I want to add something new so soon. Or maybe so ? Re: Micro guides

They would work fine on the running guide portion, just make sure you size them appropriately for the lines and leaders you need to pass. Smaller is usually better, but only to a point. It all depends on what you need to do.
You can read more about setting up a spinning rod (New Concept Guide Primer) on the online library page or better yet, in the Volume 10 #4 issue of RodMaker. .............. Re: Micro guides

Custom Tackle Supply. Link on left.
Bob's a great guy to boot. Had my first dealings with him at the show and I know I will be sending more business his way after my experience. Re: Micro guides

They work great on spinning rods, but setting up your guides and spacing is a little more critical for best results. Re: Micro guides

Be careful with your sizing.
If you are going to have to pass back to back Uni knots or slip bobber knots you'll have issues with smaller guides. Also, if you live in the north and fish in cold weather, detrimental ice build up happens rapidly. ................................. Better to have and not need than to need and not have.
