Marbling with Diamondite?

I have dabbled with marbling Diamondite with some great, and some less than great results. Anyone tried this much, and any tips?

Thanks,
Marc

Haven't tried it but Tim had a new marbling kit at the BIG SHOW the other weekend. I have to assume it works with his Diamonite finish as well. I mean, surely he formulated it for use with finishes that include his own. Right?

Diamondite works just fine for marbling. The kit that Tim created does, of course, work with his finish ... but my understanding is that it will work with others as well. It is very unique in formulation. When I get an opportunity, I will give it a whirl for sure.

According to what Tim explained to me at the Expo, the new marbling kit contains pigments that do not interfere with the cure or properties of the epoxy in any way. As you may know, even using the heavy pigment in the bottom of a jar of Testor's enamel will contain some amount of solvent and adding solvent to epoxy is not a good thing. Even in small quantities it can cause some problems.

I'm pretty sure Jim is right - I recall Tim telling me that his new product will work equally well in all epoxies.

He relayed the same info to me when I bought a kit.
