Last week there was a post expressing the desire for some software to help customers select colors for their guide wraps. I started writing such a program in 2004with the thought of selling it commercially. I ended up abandoning the project once I realized that the wide variations in wrap layouts would make the project a much larger endevor than I had time for. I've posted a screen shot of what the software looks like to the photo gallery. [www.rodbuilding.org]

Since there appears to be some interest in this type of software by some, I would like to find a way to get it to those that want it. The best way to do that will depend on the size of the response. The software will NOT be sold. I have explained this to Tom and with that understanding he agreed to allow this post.

Definitely! It would be extremely assistive in working with clients.

I would be very interested in a copy. For us old gezzers with old eyes and are getting some what color blind it would be a great help in picking the right colors.

You usually manage to give me a good laugh! Like the 3 years of blown out trips, that was a good one.

Dave, how soon would you have this available? I just hung the phone up with my friend, and I was trying to explain different combo's to match the wrap he just did. This is definitely somethign useful to have, and I would like a copy.

Th 3 years worth of blown out trip was astonishing. I felt bad at first, but it's just too funny to not laugh at. What's scary is, it feels like it was last year, when it probably was more like 4 years ago.
