I want to buy two aluminum tubes for my 9'0' 4 piece fly rods. They need to be slightly larger in diameter than the standard 2" tube since the rods I will be storing in them have larger stripping guides than my lighter rods. Any suggestions for a source? Re: Source for aluminum tubes

I've bought several aluminum tubes from REC, good service/good advice by phone on sizes needed.

Harold... I use damaged aluminum irrigation pipe. It makes me feel less guilty when I drive over a length in the field... Its very light and thin walled making the best inexpensive tube around... Bob Re: Source for aluminum tubes
