As a long time user of titan guides, I was right with you Darrin until the "arrow shape foot" comment. That's one thing about a lot of guides that I just can't stand and it is the first thing that I grind down when prepping a guide. A simple blocking wrap or Forhan locking wrap is all one needs to prevent guide pull out. Won't stop me from using the new style titan fly guides but I sure do wish the arrow foot would just go away.

I got a set last month for my 8wt GATTI, and I'm sold. I believe AmTak has all but perfected the Titanium single foot fly guide, and these new Ringlocks show it. These will go on ALL my fly rods above 5wt - salt OR freshwater. Don't get me wrong - I love Fuji - but, until Fuji drops their Titanium's price by about half......
The NIF's were OK, but these NIRLF's have truly raised the bar.
Darrin - IMHO, you guys have a real winner!

I have been waiting for these ever since.. I believe it was Chase mentioned they were working hard to bring them to market. Hopefully the ring locked matching titan tiptop is not far behind?

Hi Guys,

Thank you Kevin, I think so too. Like I said before stay tuned for more new products to come, we have a lot planned and its a process, step by step.

Joe, the arrow shape is very slight. I think we all have experienced guide feet of the past with severe shapes that split threads and make it hard to cover metal on one wrap. We kept this in mind when redesigning the foot. I hope you all will like them as much as I do.

Burton, I would hope some vendors decide to bring them to NC, you know I would always like to sell more product.
