I've used the A frame titans on several builds.

I think they are similar in height to the fuji concept guides and i've got no complaints with them during the year and half or so that I've used them.

The A frames unless they've changed them split the difference between the concept height guides and the standard height guides. There have been some posts from when they first came out with guide heights and weights.

Hi Robert,

I realize you probably want an unbiased opinion which I cannot give you, but I will tell you that I will never use a standard spin frame or match guide again. These A-Frames are awesome, they range in heights compared to Fuji's Y frames, higher, same, and lower depending on ring size, however they are shorter then match guides. The stainless frames are extremely strong and corrosion resistant, obviously the titanium frames are corrosion proof and lighter in weight. I have made 2 float rods with the A-frames so far, one with SS guides and the other with the Titan's. Both have been fished and prefered by a few guys over their traditional standard and match frame rod designs. I personally would go with Titan's for longer lighter rods to reduce weight, Sage uses them on their float-gear rods for Canada. (wish I had a couple of their blanks for myself)

The A-frames are relatively new and are really turning heads of some rod manufacrurers, particulary those interested in the high-end, high-performance type of rod designs. Several smaller specialized volume builders have already switched entirely to our latest and greatest spinning option. I hope you give them a try.

Good luck on your build.
