Raymond,

Dale would very much like to have the handle back - he did not intend to leave it and has long wondered what happened to it. Contact me for more information. I couldn't seem to get through on your email this evening.

Replied a few minutes ago Tom.

It would be a pleasure to return it to it's rightful owner! I'm so glad I never built on it.

Dale had forgotten to take it with him when he left, but later remembered and was told it was safe. After the Clemens liquidation he was told that somebody had bought it and it was "gone."

He was quite happy to learn that it's in safe hands and that Raymond is willing to return it to him. Very happy.

I think rodbuilders in general are about the finest people you will find.

Maybe, but then you have the rod builder who told Dale the handle was gone and promptly went and sold it on @#$%&.

It really doesn't matter - Dale is just happy to be able to get the handle back. He said it means a lot to him. End of story.

Ray sent me some pics. of that handle. That handle is gorgeous, it is a piece of beautiful craftmenship. I am sure Dale has many found memories concerning that handle.
