If you are looking to shoot under docks, etc. It doesn't get any better than the St Croix 4S510MXF and it is a beautiful dark blue in color. BTW, this blank weighs a whopping 1.3 ounces and it is strong enough to pull concrete blocks. Re: Dark blue crappie rod

GL2 blanks are medium gray ... some GL2 factory rods are blue. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
