Billy, I saw a EVA block in the picture gallery and you commented that you mixed the color yourself. Do you make your own blocks? Just curious, if you do - do you sell them? The blocks are kind of hard to find, I picked up some from Versitex which I liked alot and I found some Custom Grip II from a guy in PA but the color selection is fixed. Kind of like choosing from rod building thread in about 32 colors or Madeira in over 300 if you know what I mean. Look forward to hearing from you! Re: Question for Billy Vivona

Jason - I cannot make blocks, just cylanders. I don't mix the color, I do something else. Its not rocket science, but I was waiting until High Point to divlge the secret. It's really not that big of a deal and if you think about it "ouside and around the box", you can figure it out.
Steve, thanks. Re: Question for Billy Vivona

I shouldn't have said anything in public, that was stupid on my part. I wanted to share what I do in HP, as it's not that big of a deal. Re: Question for Billy Vivona

Steve, I have been offered similar promises by women, just wait, it will be worth it, only to be severely disappointed as the steak did not taste as good as the sizzle sounded. (Unfortunately they told thier girlfrineds teh same thing+ worse, lol). I don't want to make people think it's that big of a deal and that it's worth sitting on teh edge of thier chair waiting for it to be revealed. Re: Question for Billy Vivona

Billy;
I think to some, it will be worth the wait, others will wonder why the wasted their time wondering. Just like the new handle core material, and tiny guides and some other knew stuff that will be at the show. I personally think, just from some heads up stuff I've seen and have talked with people about. That this show may be the launching pad that literally takes rod building in new directions and to higher levels. People will walk away from this show with some amazing new things and technologies to work with. Including what you are doing. Just my opinion; But the people who don't attend this years show will be playing catch-up for the next year or two. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
