Just saw on another board that Amazon is taking pre-orders for a reprint of Dale P. Clemens book. That figures since I paid about three times the price for mine.lol. Re: Custom Rod Thread Art in reprint!

Yes, we announced this some time ago. An offshoot of Nick Lyons Publishing has reprinted it.

with the exception of a few pamphlets and many articles for the old club i think thats it too. Its my opinion that Dale Clemons is the father of modern rod building. Re: Custom Rod Thread Art in reprint!

Hi,
Getting older and older every day I have been having trouble pushing synthetic grips into place. I asked my friend for his plans on a tool to install grips using air pressure. Well, it turns out the plans are in Advanced Custom Rod Building. OOOPS!!! I have had that book for over 15 years and forgot all about that tool. So now I have a tool to make the chore much easier for me using a pancake compressor and 50# of air pressure. Maybe I should revist that book especially the tools section. I am glad to hear that it has been published again. Capt Neil Faulkner Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
