ABALONE SOURCES

Does anyone have any source for Abalone sheets that is in the 48 states? I ordered from Hawaii Lure back in December and they immediately charged my credit card. I still have not received the order. So, I called them. I got a nice woman on the phone that said they were out of stock. So, I said send me whatever colors you have. That was 2 weeks ago. Still nothing and no response to email.
So, does anyone know a reputable company that I can order from?

Thanks in advance,
Kevin

I buy shell for building musical instruments from Stewart Macdonald. and Luthiers Mercantile Exchange. They both sell abalone and Abalam which is thin laminated abalone. Its .040 thick (I have not tried this ) but you might be able to seperate the laminations to get thinner shell... Bob.

I used inlayusa.com. they have tons of various types of shells and are located in FL. I had the product within 2 days.

I found them also. What I like about the stuff I ordered was the thickness (.0015). The stuff at inlayusa is .0020 so thats almost the same thickness. I did some digging and found the people that make the stuff (manufacturer). So, this has been a great day. I hope to have some built before the show next month.
