As I was reading the foam article in RM, my mind just wandered to all of the other applications for enterprising sportsmen. i reload, so now I can make my own lightweight custom cartridge holders. pour in a baking pan, drill with press and have enough case holders for any caliber, just need a drill. Pour a block and carve to fit that compound bow handle, flock it or paint it and get the custom grip you want,,lighter better fit. Need a pistol case,,get a cheap briefcase, pour it in and trace and carve or route the foam to match the pistol! This stuff has endless uses for the sportsman because it is so light and easy to work with. There are many gun owners that are looking for ways to stiffen up their synthetic butt stocks, take off the recoil pad and pour away. The stuff has so many uses only your imagination will hold you back. right now I'm going to order some more Batson live bait composite blanks and duplicate the slick butts and cover with graphite, lose a ton of weight espscially if using composite saltware grips. THANKS to everyone that discovered this stuff for our use,,,especially Tom, I'd like to see what kind of uses for this stuff that would help out the sportsman in all of us!!
