Have a customer wanting a GL2 (baitcasting) built pretty much the same as the factory but with a spiral wrap. What type of guides is Loomis putting on the GL2?

Also, I've never seen a factory one, so any idea what color thread thay are using, or what would match well? I have a pretty good thread selection, but knowing my luck, it will be that one color I should have ordered!

Thx!

I thought about that, but color settings, etc vary greatly. Sometimes it can vary greatly from reality.

I looked up their website, but couldn't find where they said type of guide. Thx.

Dark blue blanks and it looks like black thread as ther is no bleed through from the thread with no CP.

Alex...Loomis GL-2 factory rods are blue with dark blue thread on wraps. I use GL-2 blanks and they are Granite color. I have not seen any blue blanks offered.

If you order a blank ... I can guarantee you will be getting granite - a medium gray gloss. No doubt about it. It will even come with a custom blank label printed in matte gold (peel and stick) and the bag tag will be light tan parchment colored.
