One additional question is of interest to me. I build few rods (fly rods), but have found that having a CCS ERN rating for each blank before assembly helps me understand the power of the specific rod blank I'm working with. Knowing the ERN for the blank gives me information that I can translate into a line weight that I feel will match the blank under my fishing conditions.

Does Batson Enterprises plan to provide an ERN and AA for each blank they ship?

You'd have to ask Bill about that. I do know that Dr. Hanneman has been in touch with them but can't say what they ended up deciding. Both will be in North Carolina at the ICRBE in February and that might not be a bad time to measure a bunch of these blanks since Batson Enterprises normally brings a ton of samples with them. We have a CCS board set up so we'd be talking less than a minute per blank to take the measurements.

Lets don't descriminate - lets do all the blanks at the Show. Dr. Bill could be one busy Dude! 18,000 blanks - one minute per blank - current ICREB length @ 16 hrs - TK would need to extend the Show length by approximately 30 days to get them all done - I am game lets go for it! }>
