Pac Bay A4 fly seat as spinning seat

Wondering if anyone has built the Pac Bay A4 fly seat as a spinning seat with hidden front hood. I am most concerned if it will accept a normal lite spinning reel foot, like a Shimano 750 or 1000 series.

Thanks and Merry Christmas,
Marc

Probably, but such a small diameter seat would most likely be very uncomfortable in the average adult sized hand.

i used a pac bay A7 seat as a spinning seat. not a good move. even my ultra light reel foot did not fit and i had to grind the foot. of course i found this out after i built the rod. make sure it fits your reel first before you build it.
