With all the good blanks out there today I wouldn't go old school anymore. The stuff today is so much better.

I like the old school fiberglass blanks as well.....finding a hidden stash of Lamis being used a flag poles in a garden of all places saved me. I have no source at all for the Fenwick blanks, the Lamis are all gone....and I am looking for old Daiwa Sealine-X (blue blanks) myself for rebuilds.

I will keep an eye out at swap meets, flea markets, and garage sales for you and I suggest you travel the same road.

I would also contact your local Fenwick tackle rep through your local sporting goods store if possible.....You never know.
