Toying around with the idea of building some spinners for tuna/albacore. The rods will be in the 8-9 foot length. Line will be in the 30-50 lb range. Any recommendations on guides to consider.

I have used the Fugi MNSG exclusively for my tuna spinning rods.

Pete,

I got a Spinner here waiting to be wrapped for the same application that I'm using Fuji MNSG's on. It's a 50lb Spectra set-up. View here --> [] They're a little on the spendy side, which is more than likely why the Fuji BMNAG's (Alconite) are more popular. We've got a local customer that builds a lot of vertical jigging spinners using BMNAG's.

I haven't tried them yet, but Scott Throop has had good luck using Batson's VS3's View here ---> [www.batsonenterprises.com] He's even used them in combination with All American's @#$%& Rollers for REAL heavy spinning rods using the new Accurate spinning reels.

Although I haven't used them on anything that heavy the V-3's are and awesome guide From what I have seen they are really strong for the amount of material in them.

Mark, do you carry the mnat in a size 9 with a 12 ring?

My error. Sorry, but I meant MNST to match the Mnsg guides. I don't see that you carry the size 12 ring with 9 tube.
