Heh good luck with that... That ordeal with the monopoly they have in this country is a mess. Watch out for the 3 month wait on parts. Re: Who else stocks Matagi components?

Tim what are you looking for. IT's REALLY simple what component goes where. Look at Matagi's site and click on teh English version - it tells you EXACTLY what everything is. Re: Who else stocks Matagi components?

Thanks for the advice Billy but I do know what I want. On the Matagi website I'd like (2) HTWCB, a HTWCL, and a D16-VF. On the Amity Harbor website I can only distinguish winding checks under their part numbers as FPR16, K16HR, and RSR16. And when I click on any of those part numbers, the SAME popup lists the same 3 rings as HTWC, HTWCB, HTWCL - none of the numbers match and I can't decypher what ring goes with what part number. If you could translate it for me I would appreciate it. Thanks. Re: Who else stocks Matagi components?

Sorry for the confusion, some of the rod building sections have to be re organized. I plan on doing this this weekend, you will find Matagi in the feather inlays, grips and supplies.

I'd like (2) HTWCB, a HTWCL, and a D16-VF.
OK, the D16-VF will only fit on teh threaded section of a size 16 reel seat. DPS or trigger style. If you would like another ring for the back of teh reel seat: for a DPS you want a D16-VR, and for a trigger seat an RSR-16, whch has a lip on it to fit inside the reel seat. THis fits an ECS or TCS style seat. HTWCB is a regular winding check designed to go in front of the foregrip, or to be used as a transition from teh reel seat to teh blank without a foregrip. The HTWCL is deisigned to work with a locking foregrip, either an HPS or KDPS. YOu need to size this to fit the ID of teh blank, when you glue the grip onto the seat, you also glue this on, then sand the grip to meet up with teh check. You MUST MUST MUST make sure teh reel seat is PERFECTLY centered, because when you turn the foregrip to loosen/tighten the nut, if the seat is not cenetered the check will rub on teh blank every 1/2 turn since it's not coencentric with the blank. RSR16 fits inside a trigger reel seat, as stated. The FPR-16 is designed to fit on teh locking foregrips mentioned, as a thin trim ring between teh foregrip material and the edge of the reel seat lip. K-16HR fits the same as teh FPS, but on a different locking foregrip style, teh KDPS. None of this is rocket science, go find MAtagi's website, and look at the English version - it spells everything you need to know out. Re: Who else stocks Matagi components?
