Sevier Spinning Blanks

I have built on a few Sevier spinning blanks, and been happy with them. I was wondering if anyone has built on the 7'0" 1 pc. lite action? Wondering if it is fast, mod-fast, or moderate. I like these blanks up to 6'6" so far, and would like to build the 7'0" lite, as this is very popular for walleye in this neck of the woods.

Thanks,
Marc

I would call it moderate. I sure wouldn't use it for jigging. I think you'd be happier with the Tiger Eye ML or M for rigging. For me a faster action medium light would be better though. I have a 7' medium that I thought would make a good spinning rod for cranks but it has a bit too much noodle in it for me. Now it's been reassigned as a slip-bobber rod.

The Tiger Eye 7'0" Light one piece spin/cast blank is listed as Slow action, 4-8 lb line, 1/8 to 3/8 oz lures. The Medium Light is listed as Moderate action, and the Medium as Fast. You probably want to step up from the Light to it for Walleye.
