Sand Paper storage made easy!

So I'm working on a ship the other day, and when I walked into the Gun Room there's a young Seaman Gunners Mate with Sheets of sand paper strewn all over the deck, a three hole punch, and a three-ring binder.........I just had to ask.........."Young man, what in the heck are you doing?" He promptly explained how he likes everything organized, and he was sorting the sand paper by grit size, punching holes in it with the three hole punch, and organizing it by grit size into the three-ring binder. He even used the seperator sheets that came with the binder to mark the grit size from coarse to fine.

Needles to say on my way home that day I stopped at the local office supply store, bought a heavy duty punch, and organized two drawers full of sand paper that I always had to dig through to find what I needed.

He's going to make a fine Chief Petty Officer some day!!!

That's a GREAT idea!
Much better than the "cubby hole" I have now...

Store them in a acoridan folder (sp) then you do not have to punch holes.
Cheers Ron.

When you said the gun room, I thought for sure you were going to describe something that looked like missile loading tubes like these [www.rodbuilding.org]

I'm thinking about a very dull 3-hole punch.

How about stacked letter trays from the office supply store.
