dying epoxy?

Is there away to dye say Flex Coat epoxy a black or dark gray, without seriously compromising the effectiveness of the epoxy finish?

The problem with that wrap is that you used the paint instead of the pigment. Let the paint set for a couple days after you buy it until the pigment settles to the bottem and then pour off the solvents. You want the thick pigment, not the solvents.

Yeah, did that - but the tamiyas don't settle all that well, and I can't get the testors here (as it was I had to drive 2 1/2 hours to get the tamiya!)

I love the marbeling effect its easy to do and looks great even a dummy like myself has made some rods look very nice with the marbeling.
