poly thread,cp,permagloss am I doing it right?

Just making sure I'm doing this right.
using the polyon thread. Coating with CP(not Gudibrod) probably at least 2 coats. then topping with permagloss, several coats.

I know I'll probably get a million suggestions but I just need the basics. yes/no

Wrap while packing, burnish and pack some more and then do the liquid thing.
