I'm sorry, I didn't want to question this, but I just don't understand what that means.

I was thinking the same thing Bill. Sounds like it will cast for you just look in the direction .lol

I'm curious as to why I need to "automatically aligning the rod tip with the direction of the cast."? I cast over head one time and side armed the next after that I might be doing a role cast of some sort. Pitching one minute flipping the next and any other number of casts from any direction none of which is affected by the way my rod tip is lined up.

Maybe if I were just learning it could be beneficial kind of like training wheels on a bike.

Team Mudhole, have you guys tested this or are you just passing on Fuji’s marketing hype?

Before it gets out of hand, I do like the seat and will get them when I need to build a conventional with a trigger, I just don't know what that means. I think they are very nice looking seats and have posted abotu them several times on here.

I am skeptical also, it seems they are just repeating what Fuji says. Lots of companies use hype to promote things they can't prove, this is probably just another case. All that being said, they look cool and I will order some.

You need proof that a real seat will point a rod in the direction of the cast?

Mudhole is in the business of selling components not testing them or marketing individual products, it wouldn't be fair to the competitors that also sell through Mudhole.

I suspect that the phrase in question refers to the idea that due to the more contoured underside of the seat, the rod will not turn or slip in the hand during the cast.
