You want really fast, really tough and really light ... look at the St Croix IV Inshore 4SW70MHF, IMO it doesn't get much better. Re: 7' fast action saltwater spinning rod.

I stock the SWS70L and really like the blank - however, it is definitely NOT fast action - it is a true moderate action. Re: 7' fast action saltwater spinning rod.

That's pretty funny. You'll have no end of different opinions as to what is the best rod out there. If I was to splurge, I'd be all over the new Super Seekers. Re: 7' fast action saltwater spinning rod.

I just finished my first rainshadow blank with all there components. Wow what a rod I havent fished it yet but it came out really nice. Thanks to Karry for his recomendation and Bob at Custom Tackle for delivering. I will be building alot of rods out of rainshadow if this one blank is any indication about there products. I think the model is the 843 popping blank. Re: 7' fast action saltwater spinning rod.

Merrick only deals wholesale. I don't have the "wholesale paperwork", so I can't buy from them. Does anyone know any dealers that deal with Rogue, if so I would be interested in maybe getting some blanks. Re: 7' fast action saltwater spinning rod.
