Two Questions Answered

Two questions keep popping up in my email inbox concerning the ICRBE.
1. Can I buy blanks and components at the show? Yes you can. In fact, you will find more rod building blanks, components and tools at the ICRBE than anywhere else in the world. For instance, last year there were over 10,000 rod blanks available for sale on the exhibit hall floor. And most at greatly reduced prices. There is so much stuff here that you may be hard pressed to see every item from every exhibitor in just two days. And, all of it is for sale. 2. How can I get my blanks back home? Anyway you wish. If you buy something that is difficult for you to transport, you may arrange with the vendor to have them ship it from stock once they return home. Or, you may take advantage of the on-floor pack and ship company that I have negotiated with for just this purpose. Being able to carry your goods to them and have them pack and then ship it for you right from the exhibit hall floor should make things easier for a lot of people at the 2008 event. You will have to pay their fee for packing and the regular UPS or FedX fee of course, but at least you won't have to wrestle with 12' blanks and wonder how you're going to get in on the airplane for the trip back home. .............. Tom,
That #2. is an excellent service. Not many show promoters go that length to help out their vendors and patrons. Ray Re: Two Questions Answered

Ray, sure wish you could attend! How many shows do you attend where multiple seminar rooms get equipped with large flat screen video monitors, video cameras with close up capabilities for monitor display and quality sound systems all free of charge to the presenters. Most seminar rooms, in the past, had approximately 100 attendees and every last one had a ring side seat to everything displayed. This is a "reel" first class deal all the way! Maybe if we keep posting the things that happen here you may can restructure you plans. I will bet some of the engravings you do would look real real good in the TV Screens! I wish I could but I can't cancel the engraving class to do the show. Several people have already paid deposits for the class.
I am making plans for 09 though. :-) Ray Re: Two Questions Answered
