Wanting to use a brown color thread to go with this blank. Looking to use gudebrod thread. What color looks good with this blank. How about a accent color? Thanks for your help. Scott

I used 206 (Garnet) for the main thread and accented it with 340 (Gold). On both sides of the 340 I put two wraps of 9000 (Metalic Gold). Looked really sharp.

Medium brown, no CP, with metallic gold accents.

Sunburst, with CP, metallic bronze accents.

#521 chestnut with metalic gold trim bands matches the blank perfectly

I had my local dealer order two spools of "Elite Brown" gudebrod thread from St Croix when I ordered my SCV blank. It matched perfectly, without color preserver. The price was right on with other colors from other sources.
