Lamiglas lists a 4'6" BFC 4610 finished rod on their web site. I looked at one of these rods on a fishing trip to AK. I have searched the internet for the blank for this rod with no success. Could this be a cut down blank? The overall weight of the finished rod seemed light indicating to me that the blank was possibly a composite, not just glass. I could be wrong.
The rod would be used just for halibut fishing in AK. Just dropping a heavy weight to the bottom and hauling in. Anyone ever cut down a blank this short? Any advise would be appreciated. Henry Re: Blank Help

Or you could use the contact site at Lamiglas, they have been real good at getting back to me.
Angler's Workshop is only a few feet from the Lamiglas factory. Re: Blank Help

Thanks for the help. I took another look at the Lamiglas site and found the blank listed. I swear I looked at the OEM fiberglass listing before. You would think that the shortest blank would be the first listed!!! Or my eyes are getting a little old!!!!!!!!!! Re: Blank Help
