I like the color selection of this embroidery thread. Can you use this type of thread for rod building applications?

Rayon is a very weak thread, and if you apply CP, it gets very scratchy, meaning is has a lot of little hairs and they will stand up and turn hard, you would have to use a lot of finish to cover it up. Best Regards Mark Crouse- The Munich Rod Man Re: Rayon thread

There's really no reason to chance the problems that Rayon thread can cause. If you want color, Madiera polyneon has about 350 brilliand colors (available from @#$%& and Mudhole on the left) There are numerous brands of polyestor threads that are widely available.
