Not sure what is the maximum but mine turns at about 17rpms. I've heard others state that 4-5 rpms ok too. Re: Rod Dryer R.P.M.

I prefer 2 or 3. Have tried many different speeds and now only use 2/3 rpm. It gives me the best finish by far Mike (Southgate, MI) If I don't want to, I don't have to and nobody can make me (except my wife) cuz I'm RETIRED!! Re: Rod Dryer R.P.M.

Apply by hand. Then dry on 16 or 18 rpm. Works best for me. If at first you don't succeed, go fishing, then try, try again. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
