Anyone know if they will be offering this deal again soon? I should have bought one when they were advertised but drug ma feet. Thanks if if anyone knows the inside scoop!

If you have a 'local' (or fairly local) Cabela's store, you can have them drop ship it to that store for free...and save on shipping charges. If Gas to get to/from the store will cost more than shipping, make the obvious better choice...

There are probably a half dozen board sponsors here who sell that unit for the same or less. They know rod building and would be happy to talk with you.

May I make a suggestion, If you are going to buy one Get the one with the alluminum chuck instead of the plastic chuck in the photo on Cabela's. You will be greatly more pleased with the upgraded version.

Mike,

That was a year end deal the last couple of years. I asked about it at ICAST, but they were unsure of it was going to run again.

That deal at Cabela's isn't the factory "rebate" deal. Cabela's has simply factored the dryer into the cost of their combo, but you'll notice it's not available on the upgrade model which is $100 more.

Two can play at that game, and in fact can go it one better! I just "paired up" ALL of our Pac Bay wrappers with and optional Dryer "Combo" which can be viewed here ---> []
