Moving day is here

We have been packing and getting ready all week. The final packing is today. The actual move will take place over the weekend. I won't have computer access at this location after I send this message. I will have telephone service.

I do have computer access at the new facility already and can conduct business there after today via internet. The telephones will be switched on the 31st and the 1st so we will be more or less back to normal by Wednesday the 1st.

Thanks to all who took advantage of the sale and lightened the load for the movers. I appreciate your patience during this move.

Some have asked where are we moving to? After quite a bit of looking around and exploring various options, we decided to build a new building on our property in the mountains. We reduce our commute from 16 miles to 60 feet, eliminate rent and utilties on an in-town store, and gain a much better work space and storage facility. Plus, it averages about 20 degrees cooler up there on these hot summer days. All-in-all it should be a much better location for us.

As always, anyone passing through the area is welcome to stop in for a visit. We have had rod builders and RBI members visit the store before and the new shop is a much more pleasant place to spend some time and talk about rods.

Thanks, Joe

Joe Douglas
