Inshore Blank Recommendation (sea trout and redfish)

I am a novice rod builder having just finished my first 5 wt fly rod. I am interested in your recommendations for a inshore blank that I plan on using for fishing for sea trout and redfish from my boat in Port Charlotte Harbor. I will typically be casting Gulp Shad. small spoons and live shrimp.

GUSA B78L. It looks great in the emerald green color

Casting rod Lamiglas or Rainshadow 843 trout / 844 if redfish any size. Use a popping rod blank which has a more moderate tip action if live shrimp involved. If spinning 843 and do not high stick and buy a landing net.

The GUSA 78L offers a lot of bang for the buck. It is a superb redfish blank and it can be fished for other species such as drum and flounders.

I'm in the process of building a rod for these on a Rainshadow CB70M, recommended by Karry & Robert @ Fishsticks4U. I think it will be a little light for an all around red/speck rod, but it sure fits what the guy I'm building for was looking for. A better all around choice might be the CB70MH as recommended to me by a couple of others. By the way, the CB70M "CCS" data is 134 cents/13.36 ERN/72 AA.

I'm currently using a Loomis MB941 for my Redfish Cup rod. It has enough backbone to turn a 9 pound redfish, but enough tip action to work a topwater. The blank comes 7'10" long, I cut 7 inches off the butt to make it finish at 7'3". Paired with an Okuma 30 size spinning reel, it is my goto rod for any situation.

I have a preference for the Loomis GL3 P844 simply because I've fished it the most both in salt and freshwater situations. It works well at many tasks. It builds into great rods in both spinning and casting configurations.
The others Jim mentioned are great also. For me the two fish are best fished with 2 rods as Bill said, but if I had to choice, the 4 power is the way to go.
