glueing cork

I am looking for the best method of glueing cork rings together. Epoxy or something else? I have the rodbuilders epoxy that I use on handle assemblies,
should I use that for the indidual rings or do I go to the hardware store for something different?

I'd use the same stuff, butter up both sides and than remove every last bit you can scrape off. The less you use the better the look and bond. It should look just barely wet with the epoxy when you join the cork rings.

I use Rod Bond or Titebond II or III with Spencers method

Contact Cement has worked well for me. Slop it on liberally to both sides. Its as economical as you might get. Never had a problem with it.

I have excellent results with Titebond II or III. They are both waterproof.

Have been using super glue gel with great results. Apply liberally and clamp. I always let it cure for two days before turning, but one day is probably enough.

I love Titebond III, on occasion I'll use Rodbond, but if it's all cork and no EVA, etc, I'll generally use the TB III - great stuff!!

Another vote for Titebond III. I get less noticeable glue lines with it.

Yes, Titebond II or III are both very good for cork or wood
