Dale , if your customer is locked in on a 12' blank we can not help , but if he will consider a 13' blank we have blanks from Wheels Reels , Anyfish Anywhere , and Rainshadow all of which make blanks in the weight range you are looking for . They are all on our website. Robert Re: Surf Rod Blank

I believe, but not positive, the Rainshadow SU 1509 rated 5-12 OZ is the new Breakaway 2pc/1pc. If it is, it should do the trick. Ask them if the butt is about 4' and tip about 9', if that's the case it is the new 2pc/1pc. Many of the new Breakaway blanks are made by RainSadow and start with SU. The 2pc/1pc used to come at 13'2" and you were supposed to cut some off the butt. I never cut mine and left them at 13' 2" and loved them and could cast 500+ feet(I'm not a big guy). Most of the competition casters left them long also. Many of the longrods are built longer than the specs say(the 2pc/1pc said 12'6", the Stinger and triple A, again, same deal). . Not as good as the original Breakaway Allstar 2pc/1pc, but still a nice rod. I have 2 in my shop, but they are for my own use..............Kyle Re: Surf Rod Blank

St Croix used to make a 12 ft blank according to my records, the 2SRC120XH2, but I heard a while ago that they were cutting back on some lines so I don't know if it's still a good number. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
