I purchased a Renzetti a while back and the cord on the foot pedal is only 6 feet long. Is this normal???? I have to do a split while wrapping tip guides.

Scott,
You need to use an extension cord or 2. I have one running from the wall to the middle of my bench on the floor. The foot pedal plugs into this. I run another extension cord from the receptical side of the pedal to the motor. With 6' of cord it will allow you to kick the thing up and down the bench a distance of 12'. They don't draw much current, but use the orange 16 or 14 gauge ones from HD or lowes.

scott I use to use the extention cord too but then i purchased and extra head stock and motor so no i have one on bth ends of my layout with two foot pedals. I can atest though the estension cord with a good cord (orange ground cord) will work fine and give you the 12 feet you need.
