Hi everyone,
I want to try my hand at casting some pins into reel seat inserts, and judging by the work shown in the galleries, this is just the place to look for help. Any advice/tips/tutorials would be greatly appreciated. To give you an idea of my level of knowledge, I know that I am looking at metal pins (mostly) suspended in some clear material (polymer?). Thanks people. Re: Newby to pin inlays

Most of the pins being used are the George Harris pins.
[www.ggharris.com] They are covered with thread finish, I use Threadmaster. Basically I use a dremmel tool to carve out the shape of the pin, epoxy in place & cover with several coats of TM. Her's a link to another thread on the inlay process. [www.rodbuilding.org] Regards Dave Fishing is Life the rest is just Details Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
