Mis the deadline, and you will hae no chance of winning the big fantastic prize. Edited 2 time(s). Last edit at 04/17/2007 09:52AM by Billy Vivona. Re: Grip Challenge - UPDATE

WEll Bruce, here is your chance to step up into the next league for yourself. You don't have to do out of this world stuff to be included, just do something that YOU havne't done before, challenge YOURSELF, regardless of what everyone else is doing. Re: Grip Challenge - UPDATE

Im working on a grip now that Im doing things Ive never done before!!!!!!! Well, it's spring steelhead season and I finally got my cork in. I don't know if I'll make it in time but I'll make it eventually. For now though I have some flies to tie, leaders to make, an SUV to pack and then get on the water and fish. Re: Grip Challenge - UPDATE

As the Dad from "Raymond" used to say: "Holy Crap!"
I was gonna send a pic of the store-bought cork grip I reshaped to fit over the "non-hooded" reel seat I ordered, or the split-grip spinning handle I made with a few store-bought foregrips. I thought I was hot stuff. Oh well. You guys are truly inspiring! -Rob PS I'm gonna submit my pix anyway, and hope that some other guys won't feel so bad! Besides, I've got just as good a chance of not winning the fantastic prize as that guy that did the wooden-inlayed elipses... I can't even visualize how that is possible! Re: Grip Challenge - UPDATE

Geez, there were a lot of entries yesterday. I'm glad to see people stepping up.
Robert - you are hot stuff compared to what you previously done. THat's what this is about. I'm glad to see you're gonna post pics. TEh ultimate goal, is to hopefully change how some builders approach building a rod. How can I improve? What else can I do? Let me try this? Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
