I have tried some sponsor catalogs and the sponsors on the right but cannot find who carries the jigs for cutting cork rings, the one used for slicing the rings and making the checker patterns.

You have to call or e-mail Bob at Custom Tackle. He is the only one that has them and they are not listed on his web site

we have the newer models, which are made of aluminum, instead of plastic. The plastic version, just did not hold up to the saw blade cuts. The aluminum model lasts forever. Give me a call at 931-684-6164 for ordering. 8:00 A.M. till 5:00 P.M. -- Central Time -- Monday thru Friday and Saturday till 11:00 A.M.

I bought one from him over a year ago and it works perfect. The only thing i would recomend is i fashoned a jig for essembling the "pie" out of a piece of pvc and a pipe clamp. Fist i cut a pice of oversized pvc then cut a notch out of it. Place it over the pie and tighten down the clamp and voila round every time and flat. Probly not the best description but if you don't understand i will try to elaborate more

Hello ALL

Thanks for the replies, as always very helpful, one more question is a miter box ok to use when cutting pieces of eva, say 3-4" or larger that
will be glued together?
