I was looking through the buy/sell page and I can't view the images. Just the ole red X. Is it something with my settings or is everyone getting the same thing?
Thanks, Steve Re: buy/sell page pictures

The photo opt on the buy/sell page has never worked. I've not had the funds to get that module of the software up and running.
Folks have to make do with general descriptions, although it seems to be working well. The page gets a lot of traffic and from what many tell me the results are often quick. ......... Re: buy/sell page pictures

Bill,
Nobody down here wants to pay for a custom rod. A lot of time goes into a truly custom rod and nobody wants to pay for that time. It's also getting expensive even at wholesale prices. I'll probably still build one every now and then and there's only so many rods I can build for myself. Oh yea! And to mention the time my 2 year old takes up and the time the soon to be here baby will take up. But that's time I don't mind giving up. To me it's time well spent. Steve,
I feel your pain!! Everyone around here has the Wal Mart attitude. That's why I'm trying to break into the repair side of it. People may not want to have that Wal Mart rod fixed, but a lot of them do have sentimental favorites. Those are the ones I'm shooting for. Plus I restore / repair castoffs and give them away to kids. I believe that if we don't get them involved in something besides booze, drugs, and being video game junkies, we're gonna lose them. Bill in WV Re: buy/sell page pictures

William....Check out your local dump....I am not kidding. I filled up the trunk of my car this Sunday with rods from the local dump and they were so happy to get rid of them I did not have to pay for them. I build quite a few give away rods myself and will get a BUNCH of perfectly usable rods out of this lot....And 4 working reels. Derek L.
