You want info that cannot really be quantified. The weights of guides as shipped/used doesn't mean diddly. How somebody preps their guides can skew the results in a big way. Use them as is or do some work to knock off the high points.... There is no database that can be built. My weight of a BLAG may be a lot different than another guy's measurements.

Robert,
I assume you’re still talking about guide weights. Are you saying “Well doesn't seem like it is worth the effort”?
I personally think it would be a valuable resource to have guides weights as well as other rod components available to rodbuilders.
I’ve compiled a spec sheet for my own use and it has proved to be invaluable to me as a reference.
I know there are those that think that guide weight differences are of little consequence, but the accumulative effect can be substantial.
If you’d like, I’d be glad to email you my spec sheet, for what it’s worth. It is mostly Fuji components and also contains ring I.D. data.
