The ONLY 12 step program I'm aware of starts with:

Step 1) layout threads thru step 12) apply finish

call sponsor, aquire MORE thread repeat 12 step program.

It's never ending and has no cure (except for the epoxy cure)

Fishing is the only respet possible during the average program!

We cleaned out our "mill-end" spools and took them to the show in a gallon ziplock bag, on our table. They were gone halfway through Saturday. Someone had a need for - well, I don't know how many spools or colours. This was a good thing, because it free'd up a whole bunch of spaces in our thread boxes. We immediately refilled them with new colours that we didn't have before, from Pac Bay and Rice (from the FishSticks4U boys). We also acquired a whole big bag of Madiera spools in colours that we hadn't seen before. None of them fit in the slots in our thread boxes, though, so we now need a new style box. We've got the Madiera colour chart on order as well.

We've listed all our threads on a spreadsheet. The ones with brands and labels are easy. The ones without are described by colour, size, and spool size.

We have Clemen's books, of course, and we have patterns from almost 40yrs of collecting. We should have got Billy's book and the software but we got rushed at the end of the show, so now we'll have to do it mail-order.

It's not an addiction.

Well, yes it is.

It seems like a perfectly normal way of living to me.
