I have purchased this progran. Can you all that use this give me some pointers on starting with simple names or initials. I must not have things set up right because everything I have tried do not come out. Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks

They should have e-mailed you a code "key" to open the program so that you can start using it.

Scott,
What I usually do for name weaves is create a JPEG file on a different source (AAA Logo) then use the import command. I like AAA Logo because it has a very unique font selection. It's availble online for about $50. Hope it helps, Randy.

Scott,
I use PC Stitch 7. I upgraded to the Pro version and then couldn't
finger out how to access the "text" feature. I assume your having the
same problem? I went back to using 7.0 What you need to do is
find the text feature and choose the font and size you want and just
type it on the grid.

Check your email

OK; This should get you started. Open pcstitch. Close the pattern window. Click on file and then on New. The pattern Properties window will open set youe cloth count to 24 and click on OK. Expand the window and set the zoom to 200. Click on the "A" in the tool bar. Choose a font and change the size (points) to 45 or 50. Click OK. Type what you want in the field.

If you're stacking letters you may have to enlarge the graph. That's done by choosing tools in the tool bar and go to pattern sizing. Either add length or width which ever you need. E-Mail me for more help if you need it.
