Tallest size 40 guide

Hi,

I'm after some opinions on a high frame size 40 guide. I'm currently using a size 40 Fuji BMNAG, but find that the height it not high enough for my application.

I don't really care who makes it, or what type of guide, but preferably, it'd be nice if the frame was black and the ring was at least as slick and hard as the Fuji Alconite.

Thanks.

You can also get the Fuji 40HH guide in Hardloy or SIC, either with a black frame. The SIC is $$ though.

The Fuji 40HH SIC is gunmetal, Hardloy is black

Thanks for the replies guys.

Does anyone know or can measure the total height of the Fuji 40HH guide? I just want to know if it is significantly higher than the BMNAG 40 guide that I'm currently using and whether its worth the effort to change it over to the high frame guide.

Thanks,
