Recoil guides vs high- frames

I was curious as to how the sizing of REC recoils compares to say a Fuji high frame guide.
What size Recoil would compare to a size 16 Fuji High Frame? How much shorter are they?

Thanks!!!

David,
Your email address is hidden or I would send you a spec sheet on the Recoil guides.

The same spec sheet is posted in the photo gallery and you can save it from there if you wish.

After that you can compair with Fuji or any other Mfg. who lists there specs.

David,
The REC recoil #20 measures 25mm from the bottom to the inside top of the guide.
The Fuji TSVSG "V' frame #16 measures 24mm

Are you psychic or something?

I am still scratching my head here.
I am building a float rod (steelhead) , and decided to go smaller on the butt guide than the norm.
I decided on # 16 recoil, then 12, and two tens & a bunch of 8s.
I have a bunch of Fuji high frames here, and I have been judging by them what I will need in recoils/ Perhaps this was the wrong idea....(?)

David-

Please email me when you get a moment. I build steelhead float rods primarily and I have a few tips I'd like to pass along to you.
