I'm searching for any information I can find on some old rod blanks I found that were my girlfriends dads. 3 of them are fenwick blanks model sc622 and the other is a feather weight productions rawhide blank mode 5620.
Is there anywhere on the web I can find information on these blanks? Thanks in advance, Tim Re: Info on old rod blanks

Probably not on the web, although this is a good place to start.
The Fenwicks are general purpose spinning or casting blanks, Fenwick was a bit weird in their numbering system because sometimes the first two numbers denoted the total length in inches, but other times it was the number of feet, plus inches. So you've either got a 5'2" blank or a 6'2" model. You can measure easy enough. The last digit was generally in regard to the company's relative power rating. A "2" was a fairly light power in the Fenwick freshwater line. The Featherweight is an older model, too. Most likely a 5'6" model in 2 power, 1-piece. You'd have to find somebody with the old catalogs to know for sure. I don't have anything going back far enough to be able to tell you for sure what you have. ................ Thanks for the help. Is there any books or a way to find out how much they would be worth?

In my 1977 Fenwick Rod Builder's Blank Catalog it has the following info about the SC 622. It's a spin cast blank (SC) 60 1/2" fast action blank. Medium Light power. 3/8-5/8 oz lure weight. .516 Butt Size. 33/64 Butt Ferrule size. 5.5 tip size. 1 1/4oz blank weight. Couldn't locate any info in my catalogs back to 1967 about the other rod. Tim,
They would not have any great value. $20 each, maybe. Most people who buy rod blanks are looking for the most performance they can get. Few 1970's era blanks can perform on par with even very inexpensive blanks made in the past decade. ............ Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
