I have 2 fly rods that need new cork.

Any sponsor that can sell me a full wells flush mount cork grip and can ream them close to the inner diameters I need, which I will measure by micrometer, please let me know.

Thanks

Good luck. Grip reaming is pretty simple, but most dealers don't have time to do it. You could do it yourself in just a few minutes.

I wouldn't even try to do this unless I had the rod to try it on. If you make the hole as big as the blank, it is going to be too loose. I don't know how much undersize you need to make it, just do it by sliding it down the blank, reaming a little more, sliding it down again, til it is about an inch from where it needs to be.
Even if you were able to get someone to ream it "close", you would still have to finish it off. So, you may as well do the entire reaming.

i had to ream the cork on this spinning rod im doing (my first rod) and it was pretty simple...better to learn now so you can do it later again if you need to

its really not as hard as you might think just check the fit often so you dont go too far and youll be fine
