Good morning, Folks,
Does anybody has experiences or give me some information for guide spacing for a sage XP 690-4? I want to use tip tip, seven rec recoil single leg guides, one fuji single leg stripper size 8 and two fuji douple leg strippers size 10 and 12. Actually the setting is from tip top (spaces are given in mm from middle ear to middle ear and from tt to guide) tip top from tt 10,5 (#2) 10,5 11,5 (#2) 22,0 13,2 (#2) 35,2 14,0 (#2) 49,2 15,5 (#3) 64,7 18,0 (#4) 82,7 22,0 (#6) 104,7 27,0 (#8) 131,7 30,0 (#10) 161,7 34,0 (#12) 195,7 For me it seems that the spaces between the stripping guides are a little to large and I think about to put the stripping guides on one part (the third after tip). Thanks for your help. Regards, Frank Re: Guide spacing for Sage XP 690-4

3 strippers on a 6 wt?
I have built three XP's (590, 790, 1090), all with recoil single foot guides (2 with recoil strippers, 1 with Fuji Ti Silicon Carbide), and have used the factory chart for guide spacing on all. It has worked very well for me. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
